Arthur and Reyna are both shocked, but Oliver explains that once they know the sniper’s location, they can run from the other side of the RV. He theorizes about where the shooter might be based on the angle of the shots, but he also remarks that the shooter left the walkie-talkie on the other side of the car, so he could be anywhere. Simon makes a joke about packing thermal-imaging goggles, and Oliver shushes him.
Oliver asks Red if guns leave some kind of imprint, and Red wonders how she is supposed to know that. Before she can say anything, Simon answers affirmatively, explaining that guns display a flash of light when fired. Oliver explains they will try to track the shooter through the muzzle flash. When Maddy asks how they will do that, he clarifies they will each stand at a window and see where the flash comes from. However, Red and Arthur both notice a shortcoming in the plan: They cannot make the sniper shoot at them without one of them dying.
Suddenly, the walkie-talkie comes to life, and the shooter asks if they are all there. Oliver lies and says that they are trying to figure out the secret.
