The next day at school, Jamie confronts Troy again, and the two make a bet about the upcoming Cowboys versus Falcons football game. Jamie backs the Cowboys and Troy the Falcons. The loser must give the winner their official football. The Cowboys are the clear favorites for the game.
Later, Troy leads Tate and Nathan back to the Cotton Wood compound so that Troy can return the stolen football, but they discover that the hole has been filled in with concrete. They head back to Troy’s house, and he stashes the football back in his equipment bag. That evening, the friends trade football cards, and Troy trades almost all of his most valuable cards, including his Brett Favre card, so that he can possess the entire Falcons lineup. Tate later returns the Favre card before she leaves, knowing the trade was unfair.
When Troy’s mom returns home, she produces a big red “all access” pass, allowing Troy to go anywhere in the arena dome during the Cowboys versus Falcons game.
